Abstract

Analyze the behavior of Latin American societies in the face of the phenomenon of expansion of the agricultural frontier, its proportional influence on its distortion; territorial ordering; and its effect on the high percentage of the problem of negative environmental impact and the correct management of biodiversity, is the reason for this research. This study systematically presents the issue and the positive and negative impact of agricultural expansion. This is how it is proposed as a research purpose, to analyze land tenure and the distortion of the agricultural frontier as a problem of environmental impact and vegetation cover for rural development in the Pueblo Llano Municipality of the Mérida State. The methodology to follow is under the qualitative paradigm, being of the Rational Hermeneutic, Phenomenological and documentary type, understood as a way of approaching, studying, understanding, analyzing and building knowledge from interpretation processes without quantified numerical measurement of experimental data of the phenomenon under study. . The findings are projected on the need for the state from the competent bodies to develop, review, apply the legal instruments that support the technical and administrative measures for the management of soil, air, land, water, and biological diversity for the protection of resources. nature and ecosystem conservation. Likewise, regulate the indiscriminate use of chemical pesticides that are toxic to crops and the environment in general, due to the use of bio-inputs for that purpose.
