Praxeological approach to managerial decision making in complex business environments

Abstract
A primary function of every manager is decision making. In the current era, this function has become increasingly complex as a consequence of the phenomena of globalization and hyperconnectivity, phenomena that have generated environments loaded with high levels of uncertainty and indecision, elements that characterize complex thinking, which is why it is must address this problem from a praxeological approach to complex thought. The purpose of the article is to describe how the analysis of the business environment is essential to make managerial decisions in complex realities. Decision-making was addressed under the approach of forming transdisciplinary work teams, this allows analyzing the complex business environment, identifying opportunities and threats, with the intention of validating the significant strengths and weaknesses for said environment. The results show how the external context plays a leading role in decision making, because if the company has branches in different regions, it will have to adapt its internal context based on the elements of each external context, concluding that although the analysis The internal context of the company is important to know itself, the external context is the one that determines how decisions are made.
