Teaching of geography. A look at contemporaneity from the first philosophy

Abstract

The teaching of geography, revealed as the BEING-REALITY or from its ontological connotation, is constituted in the perspective that at the present time or in the contemporaneity, gives validity or validity to investigations about the first philosophy. Some foundations provided by the Aristotelian vision, typical of that, are kept in mind, among which the following stand out: The first philosophy, investigates the principles of everything that exists and is a science of being as being (ontology). Geography is a science that in learning environments, becomes an area of ??knowledge with specific purposes to contribute to the formation of citizens. In this research proposal, the teaching of geography in the third of the educational levels of Venezuela is considered, in a local geohistorical context, to arrive, according to what is shown or is given, to the connotation of its nature and components
