Abstract

From 2009 the world began a process of change, a phase where technology has generated a disruptive change, in response to the weaknesses of the traditional financial system, characterized by centralizing operations, which leads to high costs and a speed of response not According to the demands of the markets, from this premise arises the need to develop this essay, taking into account the interests of companies. One of the elements that comes to transform are the physical currencies, which are becoming digital, thanks to the benefits of a single registry, agreed and distributed in various nodes of a network, known as Blockchain. This registry represents the technological floor of cryptocurrencies, in particular to the genesis currency "Bitcoin". The use of them, as a technological tool, increases the capabilities of management in decision-making, by being able to carry out their transactions quickly and with great security, thanks to the encryption and validation of operations by the nodes. For the development and consolidation of cryptocurrencies, it is necessary to have trust, an essential element to sustain credibility in the new technology.
