OKR's as a strategy in the areas of technology: Bibliometric analysis in Scopus

Abstract
This research makes its study in the OKR as a strategy in the areas of technology: bibliometric analysis in Scopus. Its objective, to determine the scientific production of the OKRs in the ICT area, starts from the concept of being a strategic management tool in the areas of Information Technology. The methodology used is a network and bibliometric analysis of scientific mapping using the LENS platform, and a systematic review of the results shown on said platform is carried out. It shows the results as a compilation of the use of said methodology (OKR), in different areas, emphasizing ICT. Considering only the spectrum of bibliometric analysis, the results do not cover everything that can be found on the subject in question, however, it observes in considerable detail, to what extent this tool has been used, as a strategic framework in other areas. This study is presented as something new because it is not a topic that has been approached head-on in an ICT-oriented manner. It also determines, as part of this research, the differences between the methodologies of follow-up or measurement of goals commonly used, KPIs, focused on results after the activities carried out and the OKRs, oriented to the previous activities, for any management system. Finally, it is concluded that establishing scientific cartography allows analysis and new lines of research, as well as scientific production, focused on these areas where knowledge-based innovation predominates.
