Incidence of Covid-19 from the perspective of Strategic Management in organizations

Abstract

The socioeconomic impact produced by the Covid-19 pandemic has generated changes in world society that have affected structural components in all countries, within this global scenario there have been improvisations and advancement of resilience and innovation processes allowing to continue with a social dynamic from technology, to avoid the total collapse of the global and local economy. A high percentage of these processes have been developed immediately, but long-term changes have also been initiated through macroeconomic measures. Within this context, the objective of this guiding scientific article is to address, from the perspective of strategic management, the probable incidents of the Covid-19 pandemic for organizations, involving risks and opportunities, as well as possible options and changes in strategic character. As a methodology for the development of this production, the bibliographic review of literature was used to obtain information related to strategic planning in the face of Covid-19 difficulties, corresponding to the type of documentary research supported by available technological tools. Finally, conceptualize various considerations that lead to the scientific value of strategic management in organizations and the uncertainty that the pandemic generated by Covid-19 has affected the various areas.
